MOUNTAINTOP ANGLICAN FELLOWSHIP

In partnership with Trinity Church Wall Street Philanthropies, the Mountaintop Anglican Fellowship supports emerging Anglican leaders across Africa and beyond to expand their systems impact at home.

This is a two-year track within Mountaintop’s flagship Fellowship program. Anglican Fellows receive:

  • All benefits of the standard one-year Fellowship.

  • Participation in Trinity Church Wall Street’s Faith Leadership Campus (Aug 2025 – Jul 2026), a year-long online leadership course with facilitated reflection.

  • A fully funded place at the Mountaintop Leadership Institute (Jul 2026).

  • $300/month grant payments from Aug 2026 – Jul 2027.

How to Apply

  1. Complete the standard Fellowship application.

  2. Indicate you are Anglican or Episcopalian.

  3. Submit a short response on your connection to your faith.

Applications 

(Rolling deadline, apply by November 8th to be considered for both standard fellowship and Anglican Fellowship)

Includes a resume, written responses, and project proposals.

Finalist Interviews

(Rolling deadline)

Virtual finalist interview with Mountaintop staff. Mountaintop may choose to contact references after the interview. Selection notifications will be made by December 23.

Leadership Institute

July 12, 2025 - July 23, 2025

The Leadership Institute takes place for two weeks in person. In 2025, it will be held at Harvard's Edmond & Lily Safra Center for Ethics in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Mountaintop covers all costs, including flights, lodging, meals, ground transportation, and visa fees.

Fellowship Service

August 1, 2025 - July 31, 2026

Fellows work full-time (40 hours/week) on their fellowship project. Fellows also receive access to 1:1 monthly mentorship, ongoing mentorship office hours, a monthly speaker series, a virtual midpoint retreat and graduation retreat, and the opportunity to apply for Catalyst Funds of up to $2,500.

Alumni Programming

August 1, 2026 and Beyond

After their fellowships, alumni receive ongoing support to build socially minded ventures, advance into positions of leadership in governments, nonprofits, and business, launch movements, and run for elected office.
