What inspired you to join Mountaintop?
"After more than a decade witnessing how well-implemented programs transform lives, I'm joining Mountaintop to deepen my capacity as a systems architect for social change and gain the tools to remain agile and grounded as both the social impact space and our world refuse to stand still."
Patricia Rarriw is a systems architect who transforms how mission-driven organizations achieve impact. With 14 years of experience across global health and social impact sectors, she has built the governance, operational, and programmatic infrastructure that enables organizations to move with agility, resilience, and sustained excellence, even in the face of complexity and change.
Patricia thrives in ambiguity. Known for creating clarity and structure in high-pressure environments, she bridges strategy and execution with a rare ability to hold both the big picture and the operational detail. Her expertise spans organizational systems strengthening, program management, governance, and executive leadership support and is always in service of institutional health and mission alignment.
Currently Executive Manager at the African Women's Development Fund, one of Africa's foremost feminist grantmaking institutions. Previously, she held senior roles at CIHEB Kenya and the University of Maryland's Institute of Human Virology, where she managed large-scale global health portfolios. She holds a Master's in Health Sciences from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and a Bachelor's in Business Management from Kampala International University.
