Yogesh Katoch is a Business Analyst in the fintech industry and an MBA candidate with a passion for leveraging financial modeling and innovative strategies to drive social impact. With professional experience in data analysis, financial modeling, project management, and leadership roles in organizations like AIESEC, Yogesh has honed his skills in creating actionable solutions to complex problems.

Growing up in Udhampur, Jammu & Kashmir, Yogesh witnessed firsthand the challenges of agricultural sustainability and farmer livelihoods. In 2021, he co-founded an agrotech company to promote organic farming practices, empowering farmers with education and sustainable methods to increase income and improve soil health. This initiative not only addressed environmental concerns but also created economic opportunities for rural communities.

Yogesh holds a degree in computer science and is currently pursuing an MBA at New York Tech. He aims to combine his expertise in business analysis and financial modeling to tackle critical issues such as environmental sustainability and education equity.

During his fellowship, Yogesh plans to create a Community Impact Dashboard for NYC, an innovative platform to visualize and address social challenges in the city, such as poverty, food insecurity, and access to education. The project will include data collection from NYC Open Data, dashboard development, and community engagement through workshops and outreach. By providing actionable insights, this tool will empower nonprofits, policymakers, and residents to drive positive change.

In the long term, Yogesh aspires to lead initiatives at the intersection of financial modeling, technology, and social impact, contributing to a more equitable and sustainable world.
