What inspired you to join Mountaintop?
"To further my commitment to community-driven digital equity, this fellowship would provide not only the financial capital to advance my solar-powered network training but also invaluable access to world-class training, mentorship, and a global network of changemakers. These resources will strongly support my vision of empowering underserved communities by providing essential tools to foster resilience, sustainable connectivity, and independence in navigating digital spaces, while amplifying my capacity to create long-term social impact."
Raised in the Dominican Republic, Tiffany has developed a profound appreciation for Afro-Latin culture, which has deeply shaped her worldview and identity. Growing up in a multicultural environment, she often navigated the intersection of her Chinese heritage and the vibrant Afro-Latin traditions she was immersed in. This unique blend of cultural influences has driven Tiffany to find common ground between the two worlds.
As an AmeriCorps ACC member at CTNY, Tiffany is dedicated to advancing digital equity and empowering underserved communities. With expertise in political technology, she focuses on fostering internet resilience and building community-driven broadband networks that remain functional during emergencies. Passionate about bridging technology and social impact, Tiffany’s work emphasizes connectivity, resilience, and empowering communities through sustainable digital solutions.
