Svenja is a senior finance and governance professional with over a decade of experience across international development cooperation, the private sector, nonprofit organizations, and public institutions. Her career has been shaped by deep cross-sector engagement in emerging markets, with particular expertise in Global Business Services (GBS) developed through long-term, multi-stakeholder collaboration within the African IT ecosystem.
She currently serves as Director of Finance and Controlling at AmaliTech, a rapidly scaling IT outsourcing provider, where she leads a geographically distributed finance team across four countries. In this role, she is responsible for designing and institutionalizing robust finance, controlling, and strategic governance frameworks that enable sustainable growth, operational excellence, and informed executive decision-making.
In parallel, Svenja acts as Deputy Managing Director of the Digital Skills Accelerator Africa (DSAA), a nonprofit organization focused on strengthening local talent pipelines through private-sector–driven training initiatives in the ITO and BPO industries. Her work contributes directly to the creation of high-quality employment opportunities and the long-term competitiveness of digital services sectors across multiple African countries.
