Dev Sharma is a visionary leader and sustainability advocate, blending his expertise in data science with a passion for driving global impact. With a proven track record of leading diverse teams, fostering innovation, and building cross-cultural collaborations, Dev is dedicated to creating meaningful change. As the Local Committee President of AIESEC in New York City, he leads a team of 20, orchestrating over 30 UN SDG-aligned international exchange programs and initiatives. His leadership has been pivotal in building strategic partnerships, increasing community engagement, and delivering impactful outcomes aligned with sustainable development goals.

Through his work with ALSiSAR Impact, Dev played a key role in incubating over 30 startups across conflict zones and frontier markets, including social enterprises in the Himalayas. These initiatives, which provided advanced education to remote areas and implemented satellite analytics to empower farmers, inspired his commitment to using technology for sustainable development. Building on this foundation, Dev pursued his master’s degree at the New York Institute of Technology, where he was awarded the Edward Guiliano Global Fellowship to continue working on a similar project in Ladakh. His fellowship research focused on leveraging satellite data to analyze the impact of artificial glaciers on water availability and agricultural productivity, providing actionable insights for resource management in the Himalayas.
