Dennis Grandpa Jarpah is a healthcare entrepreneur and social leader working to expand access to quality, affordable healthcare in rural communities across Liberia. He is the co-founder of Den-Vera Medical Laboratory and Clinics, which operates two branches in rural counties and has served more than 15,000 residents, most of them women and children.
He brings over five years of experience in hospital administration and more than a decade of leadership across healthcare, education, and community initiatives. Alongside his work with Den-Vera, Dennis serves as the chief executive officer of Jarpah’s Foundation, a humanitarian organization focused on improving health and education outcomes in underserved communities.
Dennis is actively engaged in water, sanitation, and hygiene efforts, including establishing WASH clubs in schools and distributing hygiene supplies in rural areas. He holds a bachelor’s degree in agronomy and is currently pursuing an MBA in management. Dennis is a 2022 Mandela Washington Fellow and a recipient of the 2025 Lonestar Cell MTN MoMo Heroes of Change Award. His work is guided by a long-term commitment to expanding healthcare services across rural Liberia and West Africa.
