What inspired you to join Mountaintop?
“I joined the Mountaintop Executive Fellowship to grow as a leader while connecting with people who are building at a global scale. My focus is on expanding solutions that protect biodiversity, reduce climate risk, and create measurable impact for communities.”
Armando Hernández is a serial entrepreneur and leads Sales and Growth at Satellites on Fire, a wildfire early-warning platform operating in more than nineteen countries. The system detects fires faster than NASA satellite alerts, reduces response times by an average of thirty-five minutes, and supports over four hundred wildfire events each quarter.
Before moving into climate technology, Armando co-founded and scaled Gamefort, a startup connecting brands with players inside a digital stadium. The platform reached more than 100,000 users across ten countries and partnered with organizations including Heineken, FC Barcelona, and AMD. He has also worked in venture capital at Dux Capital, supporting early-stage investments across fintech, edtech, and climate technology. His experience spans B2B and B2C sales, international expansion, government relations, and high-growth startup operations.
Armando is a Sigma Squared member and a START Fellowship mentor. He holds a degree in Finance from ITAM and is focused on building technology that protects ecosystems, scales globally, and delivers measurable, real-world impact.
