Victoria Flores Almazan is passionate about education, financial literacy, empowerment, and creating opportunities for others. As the founder of "Take Charge with Victoria," she supports students from low-income and underserved backgrounds by providing practical resources & encouragement to help them achieve their educational and personal goals. Her bilingual website (English and Spanish) guides newcomers and first-generation students navigating life in the United States, a desire born from her immigrant journey from Acapulco, Mexico to the United States.

In her professional journey, Victoria serves as a Kaplan Scholar, a speaker for non-profit organizations, and a research associate at the Neuropathology Brain Bank at Mount Sinai. These roles allow her to continue contributing to the community and medical field. Victoria strives to inspire others to take meaningful steps toward their dreams through Take Charge and her personal story. She believes that with determination and access to the right tools, everyone has the potential to create a brighter future.
