What inspired you to join Mountaintop?
“I joined the Mountaintop Business Executive Fellowship because it aligns with my mission to build human-centered organizations, learn from visionary leaders, and expand my ability to create meaningful and sustainable impact through mental health leadership.”
Esther Suncin is a clinical psychologist and entrepreneur focused on expanding access to mental health care through dignified, human-centered approaches. She is the founder of Farfalle Psychology, a boutique practice established in 2017 in El Salvador that offers individual therapy, group programs, and community-centered services rooted in evidence and empathy. Farfalle Psychology integrates clinical expertise with creative modalities to make mental health care more approachable and effective for diverse populations. Through her clinic, Esther has provided more than 1,700 free therapy sessions, reflecting a strong commitment to inclusive and accessible care.
Throughout her career, Esther has combined clinical science with creative and community-based approaches. She was the first psychologist to introduce LEGO®-Based Therapy in El Salvador and continues to design programs that integrate emotional education, mindfulness, compassion-focused practices, and community support. Her work extends beyond individual therapy to include workshops and programs for entrepreneurs, teams, organizations, and international initiatives addressing stress, uncertainty, and leadership challenges.
Esther holds master’s degrees in Clinical and Health Psychology and Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy and is pursuing further studies in Conflict Resolution and Mediation. She also holds certifications in emotional well-being, crisis intervention, applied neuroscience, animal-assisted therapy, and compassionate leadership. A 2023 YLAI Fellow, she is part of the Mountaintop Business Executive Fellowship, where she aims to strengthen her ability to build accessible and emotionally supportive systems across the region.
