Daksh Mehta is the Co-Founder of Acuflex Global L.L.C-FZ, a forward-thinking company dedicated to revolutionizing sustainability by offering innovative, eco-friendly alternatives to single-use plastics. Growing up in Dubai, Daksh frequently visited India during his school breaks, where he was deeply impacted by the sight of widespread plastic pollution. Witnessing animals like cows consuming plastic waste on the streets sparked his determination to bring about positive change and tackle the environmental challenges posed by plastic use.

Currently pursuing his undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering at NYU, Daksh has combined his technical knowledge and passion for sustainability to lead Acuflex in developing practical, scalable solutions. The company provides a wide range of eco-friendly products, including jute, cotton, and juco tote bags, compostable garbage bags, courier bags, pet waste bags, shopping bags, and compostable cutlery. Acuflex has also introduced compostable machines for hotels, enabling food waste to be converted into dry organic manure, promoting circular economies.

Founded by a team of passionate environmental advocates, Acuflex collaborates with businesses, schools, and institutions to create a culture of sustainability. Acuflex has partnered with five schools in the UAE, delivering presentations to educate students on climate change and sustainable practices. He firmly believes that “saving the planet starts with empowering the youth.”
