"I was inspired to join the Mountaintop RIVET Fellowship because of its dedicated community and focus on innovating interdisciplinary solutions to global challenges."
Anshul Khazanchi Sinha is the Founder and Managing Director of the International Parity Group (IPG), a multinational nonprofit that works promote across Asia. IPG has supported underserved communities through a mix of established initiatives and pilot programs in Bhutan, India, Indonesia, and Nepal. They have facilitated thousands of teaching hours and worked on various innovative approaches to social empowerment.
Anshul is currently a senior at Columbia University, majoring in Electrical Engineering and Pre-Medical Studies, with a double minor in Computer Science and Anthropology. He has conducted research in quantum mechanics and genetics at his university, but aside from this, Anshul has significant professional experience across finance, management consulting, and tech. He exemplifies the modern polymath, utilizing his academic and professional background to approach complex, multifaceted issues. Outside of his professional pursuits, Anshul enjoys martial arts, including boxing and archery, as well as sailing and polo.
For his fellowship, Anshul plans to expand IPG’s education programs by increasing the reach of the initiatives whilst improving the quality of the teaching curriculum and implementation. He aims to partner with local governments and nonprofits to launch teacher training programs focused on modern pedagogical techniques and inclusive practices. Anshul will also to establish a data-driven outcomes measurement system with real-time feedback mechanisms, utilizing the Mountaintop RIVET fellowship community to collaborate and develop such frameworks to adapt to the needs of the local community.
In the long term, Anshul hopes to contribute to technological innovation, economic development, and public service. He is currently engaged in projects spanning disability advocacy, prison reform, and animal protection, and he hopes to continue to build on these efforts. Ultimately, he remains resolute in his dedication to solving complex challenges and creating opportunities for others.
